Our Regular Events....when Covid allows!!

  • “Coffee n Chat”
Generally held monthly giving members, friends and the general public a relaxed informal morning out. Chat may include, but is not restricted to family history.

  • “Show and Tell”
Held throughout the year at members meetings when a member chooses to bring along an item of interest pertaining to their family history.

  • “MUFHSI Open Day”
Our Open Day is normally held during August or September and offers variety each year with a different “theme”. Society members exhibit their research and family memorabilia.
Members of the public are invited to come along and enjoy the various proceedings of the day.

  • “NSW Family History Conference”
The NSW & ACT Association of Family History Societies Inc. holds the State Conference in September each year.

  • “Roma Robbins Award”
The “Roma Robbins Award” is presented to the winner of the best member’s story, published in the Pigeon House Tidings June or December issue, at the December members meeting. A Christmas afternoon tea follows the meeting and presentation of the award.
