Milton ulladulla Family History Society

Milton Ulladulla Family History Society Inc.

The aim of our Family History Society is to encourage research and friendship in genealogy.
To promote the study and foster the knowledge of family history in the local community.

Our society provides a number of family history research services to the general public. Membership to our society provides discounted costs in many circumstances for research, internet access, Ancestry & Find My Past access along with the sharing of like interests with other members.

We open to the public on Monday, Wednesday (10 am – 2 pm) & Saturdays (9.30 am – 1.30 pm). Two Society volunteers are on duty to provide advice and assistance to those wishing to start family research as well as visitor enquiries. We can carry out detailed research for members and others at a nominal cost.

Where possible, we will assist with research problems at our room.

Non-Members who wish to carry out research in our rooms may do so at a cost of $10.00 per day.
Our Members are asked to donate a gold coin on these days.- see services provided.

General Members (workshop) Meetings

These are held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month between 10.00 am to approximately 4.00 pm. Research facilities are available for use during that day except between the hours of 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm, when we hold our informal Members Meeting to exchange information and ideas. Visitors are always welcome.

On meeting days a $2 donation for members would be appreciated to help with catering and other costs. On special members meeting days when a speaker is giving a presentation the cost of the day will be $5.00.

Our volunteers can offer advice to those wishing to start their family research. From time to time we hold discussions on selected research topics, research problems and also may have guest speakers. (see Events)

The Society’s Annual General Meeting is held in August of each year.
