Timber workers of the NSW South Coast

Timber Workers and Their Families of Milton-Ulladulla District – 2018

Milton Ulladulla Family History Society has produced a book on the timber Industry in our region. One of our members, Margaret Magnusson headed a team of members to research, collect and compile all the information. This took approximately 3 years.

The timber industry in our area was very big and employed many men and women. There are wonderful stories and some sad ones too. This book not only looks at the workers but also some of the boats that were involved in carting the timber out of the district by sea. Later trucks carted the timber to Sydney, Wollongong and other destinations.

The cost of this book is $40.00 plus postage. If you would like to purchase a copy please email our secretary –  Or if you are in the area please call in at our room to purchase.
