Our group held open days this week on Monday 21st, Wednesday 23rd and Saturday 26th August during “August Family History Month”, with Saturday our main day. Our theme this year being “Timber Workers in and around our local region”. Many thanks goes to Marg Magnusson for all her efforts and obviously long hours dedicated to working on these displays.
Some of our members and people from the local area visited and enjoyed the display. They also enjoyed a chat as they browsed. On Saturday some of our members dressed as timber workers. It was a fun day on such a fantastic sunny one.
