After the Roma Robbins Awards were presented at the members meeting, the Christmas raffle was drawn. After John selected a ticket he handed it to Cheryl to read out the winner. First prize was won by Marg Magnusson, second by John Olle, third by Bev Evans and fourth by Lindsay Bishell

Congratulations to all the winners.
Next Marg Hamon a member, gave us a very interesting talk on her family history. Her pioneer family lived in the Bawley Point area soon after they arrived from Sark, a small island in the English Channel.
Before we all ajourned to the kitchen area where a scrumptious afternoon tea was awaiting us, another presentation occured.
Totally surprised and way not expecting this I (Julie G) was given a gold envelope in apprectional of the work I put into the shopkeepers book. It was such an amazing gift. Thank you so much. It was my pleasure to have been able to work with a fantastic group of people. It was a real team effort.
