The “Parkin” Lot….James Pakin [1800-1850 and Mary Lythgoe[1792-1866]….James and Mary had nine children born in Liverpool, England. ….they arrived in Sydney in 1849….James wrote a diary of this voyage out to Australia and a description of Sydney Harbour. Further stories of the children….

Her three grandsons made their mark as a Bishop, a Cricketer, and an Explorer….
