The day finally arrived, Friday 1st Dec our book launch was a great success. Shelley Hancock, our Patron and now a retired long standing South Coast member of Parliament was our guest speaker. She praised what she said “was a truly engaging book with an extroadinary array of photographs and research.” Jule Gullan, Project Leader and Editor of the book also spoke. She thanked the team of 12 who did an exceptional job with researching, interviewing older members of our district, proof reading and much more, etc.
Many members, family, friends and the general public attended the launch. Light refreshments were served at the end. The day was enjoyed by all.
