A Work in Progress – Timber Workers
Our members have taken on a new project. Margaret Magnusson is heading the group, putting together a Book dedicated to the Timber Workers from around 1840’s to present day in the Milton-Ulladulla District. This also will be including Wandandian, Benandarah and Clyde River areas.
Mills, Mill Owners, Truck drivers, timber cutters etc – any who were associated with the timber industry are all to be recorded in this book. We would like anyone who has any information to contact us so we can record the timber workers name, stories, photos and any other details you may have.
